About the Club

Our aim at Thorn Athletic Community Trust is to use Thorn Athletic Community Football Club and Thorn Athletic Sports Academy to enhance and improve peoples’ daily lives.

We want to provide all members of the community with the opportunity to access quality sport and recreational activities whatever their age, ability, gender or ethnicity.

We strive to be the leading organisation of our kind in the area and we will aim for excellence not only on the pitch but also through our coaching, volunteering and community initiatives.

We want to provide coaching and facilities of the highest standard to ensure that those playing and watching are proud to be a part of our organisation.

We want to nurture our players and ensure excellent retention levels by developing a club that has a positive ethos, great facilities, outstanding coaching and a fun social environment.
